Only two weeks left in 3rd quarter. It is a good time to check Educate for missing work.
This week we looked at how we respond to God’s love. How we can take the gifts he has given us and “pay it forward.”
Next week we’ll be in a regular routine with lessons from our One Christ Book.
Next week’s memory is BEAUTIFUL SAVIOR vs. 1 and 2.
We will tackle the 2nd Article to the Apostles Creed and its meaning in class. So just focus on the hymn for this week.
Students took a test this past Thursday. I will try to have those in this weekend, but I am at the State basketball tournament all weekend, so it may be into next week.
Students are also taking on an iPad project where they have to choose an app on the iPads and then use it to teach a concept. They will have class time to work on this. Most if not all should be completed in class.
7th GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES
We started a Black History Month unit this week. Students have a BIG assignment due next week. (Adler 3/2; Spangler 3/3) They are creating biography reports on two black history month figures. All the requirements are clearly spelled out in Google Classroom. Students should be careful about following the directions.
There is a 3D printing component to this project. It is extra credit and available to all students. Students need only to design something that could potentially be printed and I will take it from there. I went over some sites that would help them design their 3d object in class.
We had a great time on Thursday with a presentation about Black history month. Check out some of the pictures on my TWITTER FEED
Blessings on your weekend.
