REMINDER - you can view your child’s report card online in Educate. Click on the SCHOOL tab at the top. Then choose your child below. Once that menu pulls down, you’ll see assignments, grades, standard grades and REPORT CARDS.
This week we learned some facts about Martin Luther. Students in both fifth grades tried to come up with 95 different facts about him. While they fell short at 85, they did a great job of researching and finding facts. You can view the two classes stream of facts at their todaysmeet site.

In CFP this week we looked at Pharaoh and his not obeying God’s command. We talked about how others can influence our own personal integrity.

This week’s memory is the 6th commandment and its meaning, along with 2 verses of For All the Saints. HERE Is a video that might help.
Mr. Akerson Paced and Self Paced both will take test 6B on Friday. Self paced will also have test 7B on Monday.

Keep up with the xtramath. It really will be very helpful in doing a lot of the procedures we have facing us in the coming months.
7th SOCIAL STUDIES
We had a great guest speaker this week. Mrs. Amany Hacking came to talk about being Muslim and gave a great presentation.

Next Tuesday is election day! Watch for our debate video coming out soon. The debate is on Friday at 9:45 AM. I will record it and then send out a link so that families can watch.
Students also continue through our Islam unit. We looked at the Crusades this week and their effect on Jews, Muslims and Christians.
There will be a big unit test coming over Islam. A study guide will be coming early next week. Test will most likely be the week of November 14th.
Students have an assignment to finish up a page of notes for next week.
