We had great discussion and finding evidence about Jesus as true God last week. Students added to their faith portfolios by finding scripture references that prove Jesus was true God. Next week we’ll be searching for evidence of him as true Man.
In CFP last week we studied the story of the Canaanite woman’s great faith and the diligence we need to have in our faith development.
This coming week we’ll look at the Transfiguration in CFP
Back to reality and normalcy last week with regular lessons and a math test. This coming week we will also start a new project using seesaw to teach a lesson in math.
This week’s (2/12 - 2/16) xtramath is extra credit. Students can earn up to 3 points of extra credit for practicing their times tables using xtramath.

Students started working on their next genius hour research and project, a country in the Winter Olympics. We are really going to focus on being good digital citizens and how to take information from the internet and put it into our own words.
7th GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES
Students took their China unit test last week. I hope to have those graded and in early this week.
Next we will do a brief study and project of Black History Month. Students have a project shared with them in Classroom (Mr. Spangler’s class will get it on Wednesday.) All the requirements, directions, and scoring guide can be found in there.
Blessings on your weekend.
