Achievement Tests Cometh - all classes have been preparing for achievement tests which happen next week. (4/11 - 4/15)
5th Grade Field trip - Coming soon (Later this Sunday) will be a letter explaining where we're going, how we're getting there, a way to sign up to chaperone as well as costs for the field trips on May 18, 19 and 20.
5th Discipleship - This past week we looked at stories after the resurrection. We looked at the road to Emmaus. (My favorite part of the Easter story) We then "tweeted" out as people who Jesus appeared to. Those are hanging on our classroom door. #wehaveseenhim

This coming week we will do a mini-unit on prayer. We will be using our One in Christ book.
5th Memory - Please take a minute to look at Cornerstone. I have entered many M's or missing for memory work for the past two weeks. I have a hunch with Easter some of it fell through the cracks.
This week's is week 30 - Baptism pt. 4 - and JOYFUL JOYFUL WE ADORE THEE
5th Math - we are preparing for the achievement tests and moving forward with our lessons.
Make sure to stay current on your math homework. I am really going to be focusing on the students' note taking this coming quarter. Let's finish the quarter and year strong!
7th Social Studies - We are studying the Renaissance. Students first have a map test over European countries, capitals and features. Test is Wednesday (4/6) for Mr. Adler's class and Thursday (4/7) for Mr. Spangler's class. Be studying the quizlets you created or that were shared with you. Students can also study their maps and ask for another blank map if needed.
This coming week I look forward to studying artwork and achievements from the Renaissance as well as this.....
