1st Quarter is finished. Please check educate to see if you (the students) have any missing work. I will also have a list tomorrow.
Have you checked out your child's work on Seesaw? Good stuff in there. 5th graders will be uploading their "self-report cards" this week.
5th GRADE FAMILIES
Don't forget that by October 30th students must submit a piece of paper with their intended service project listed and a parent signature.
This week in discipleship students looked at some events in the life of Martin Luther.
ASSIGNMENT DUE TOMORROW - students were to take the five events they researched and put them into a Google Slides presentation. These are due Monday.

Memory this week is the 3rd Commandment and its meaning and the first 2 verses of “The Church’s One Foundation”
I am going to hold off one more week on starting the math splits. I will be sending emails home this week getting parent input.
We will have our 5th math test this week. Pretest comes home tomorrow (Monday) Test will be Wednesday.
7th GRADE FAMILIES
Song project due this week! This is a larger project. Students have had about 10 days so far, as well as over 45 minutes of class time to work on this. They are due at the beginning of class on Wednesday (ADLER) or Thursday (SPANGLER)
I am excited to welcome a guest speaker this Friday, October 20. Mrs. Amani Hacking is a SLU professor who is a Muslim. She will come and give a great talk about what it is REALLY like to be part of her faith. Parents are welcome. She will be start around 9:45 on Friday in the Concordia Center.
We will finish up our study of Islam this week. Next week we’ll start our study of the Reformation.
